I retired from the computer industry to Brixham in 1974 and my wife and I got to know him a little. Always friendly, well mannered and good company .
He gave us one of his pictures FOC because it had a slight smudge -you had to look hard to see it .

We loved it and hung it on our walls for many years after we moved back to Berkshire.
then we had a big house fire and lost it . My sons recently suggested we return to Brixham for a weekend (they were then under 10 years of age, now 50 ish !).and I wanted to contact Dale to see if we could meet . ,

Googled his name and sad to see he has gone. so we are too late. He was a nice chap, generous and very talented, glad we knew him
